It is managed by Juan Villarroel who has a masters degree in Tourism and Hostelling from the university Univalle - La Paz. He is also a certified mountain guide with a lot of experience in trekking guidance. He speaks English, French, Spanish and Aymara fluently and studied the archaeology of South America. His hobbies include bird watching and lithography so he is a good guide on them as well. He has assisted with technical info to many guide books like : The Andes by John Biggar and reported new routes to magazines like High Magazine in UK. He wrote the guide book “Trekking and Climbing in the High Andes of Bolivia” used as manual by many travel bureaus.
