Areas of Work: 
Volunteering to help marginalized groups. Those in extreme poverty and those excluded from society (elders, street children, Andean and Amazonian indigenous communities, rural women, beggars, human beings who live from the trash etc.) 

Number of Employees: 
50 volunteers – the volunteers are men, women, the majority are professionals of different careers, agronomists, sociologists, auditors, economists, engineers, etc. The volunteers work on their own activities in different areas of Cochabamba: in the mayor’s office, in the UMSS university, private companies, and NGOs.

Description of Work Areas:
 
Cercado Province, The City of Cochabamba (Inter-Andean Valley, Capital City): Activities with the elderly, beggars, tawis (people who live from trash), child shoe shiners, music and singing, fusion radio, printing and others.

Quillacollo Province of Cochabamba: de Cochabamba (The closest city to the capital): Street children.

Alonzo Ibáñez Province, in the North of Potosí (A mountainous zone in extreme poverty): Bachelor’s degree programs for farmers, food programs for poor rural children, training rural women.

Chapare Province, The Tropic of Cochabamba (Amazonian zone with abundant wildlife and humidity): Support indigenous organizations and Amazonian education.

The Foundation: 
VOSERDEM is a private legal entity classified under CDC (CC 113 A123, 298A 329) founded formally on the 8th of June 1998 with its beginnings dating back to 1991.

Volunteer Work Areas: 
The volunteer incorporates themself into Voserdem like other volunteers and supports collaborative action in the various areas of the institutional according to its regulations and principles.

Requirements: 
Visiting volunteers should be of adult age and professionally experienced.

Payment (If yes, how much): 
We can accompany volunteers and help them but they must cover their own costs. The volunteer is invited to help Voserdem financially as well through donation during their tenure as a visitor.

Housing for Volunteers: 
We can help coordinate housing and food for volunteers.
