Description:
The Alianza Francesa is situated in the heart of the centre inside a colonial building. They offer French classes for kids and adults as well as Spanish classes especially for foreigners (45 Bs. per hour). Inside the centre there is a media library that gives students, members and the public access to more than 3500 books, subsciptions and magazines, french movies and music. There is also a restaurant inside, La Taverne, where you can enjoy french food.

During the year the af organizes various cultural activities:
* cinema every wednesday at 19:00
* crêpe festival (february)
* week of the "francofonie" (march)
* music festival (june)
* Intercultural meeting of Art and Heritage (july)
* week of literature (october)
* week of taste (november)
