CARE Bolivia

CARE is an international organisation that works with communities. They provide education and facilities relating to a range of social issues, from enabling young women to start up their own business to building sanitation facilities. Always, they involve the local community as much as possible, imparting crucial skills so that nobody is left reliant on the charity.

Over the years, the work CARE has done in the Bolivian El Alto region (and particularly in Potosi) has focused on empowering women and young people. Their most recent project revolved around sexual and reproductive health education workshops.
