Stone Doorway of the Suns, Potosi

Walking along Calle La Paz there is a fine stone doorway, between Calle Chuquisaca and Calle Nogales, decorated with carved pots, laurel leaves and suns. Once the entrance to a colonial mansion, the doorway is a very well kept example of the intricate stone carving that has helped earn Potosi its World Cultural Heritage Site status.
