Casa de la Luna, Isla del Sol, Bolivia

Lake Titicaca, bordered by snow-capped mountain peaks and glaciers of the Cordillera Real and fed by its meltwater, is also known as the "Sacred Lake of the Incas". Lake Titicaca is a beautiful place for nature lovers, with a view of the eternally snow-capped peaks of the Cordillera Real, in contrast to the deep blue water of the lake. Its islands, Isla del Sol and Isla de la Luna, peppered with archaeological remains, are one of the main attractions of the lake, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view. On both islands there are archaeological sites that were once temples of the Inca civilization.
Isla del Sol (sun island) is located on the northeastern tip of the Copacabana peninsula and 14 km from the town itself (one and a half hours by motorboat), and offers pre-Columbian monuments such as the "Pilkokaina" palace, the "La Chinkana" temple - the labyrinth, the "Inca stairs", the "holy spring of eternal youth", as well as Inca terraces.
